Headed to the Gowen Family Farm...

Excitement is in the air as I try to wrap the project this year we are back in shooting season and headed to a new farm. The team will be headed up to New Hampshire to meet the Gowen family, photograph, film and interview them for the project. This 4th generation farm has been farmed by the Gowens for 124 years in Acworth. Gordon & Betty we are looking forward to having you as part of this ongoing project.

A Generation.

Hello and welcome to the blog for documentary project Men Of Land. A photography project focusing on a generation of men whom have farmed the land all their lives, who are located across the country. Farming is a way of life for these men and has been for more than four generations for some. But with the dwindling farming that is taking place in America, whom will these men pass their farms onto and share their knowledge with? The enlightening story and history of these humble strong men will be told through a photo exhibition taking place in December of 2008 in New York City, along with a published book and 30 min Short Film Documentary. 

We are currently looking for funding and more farmers. Please let us know if you have any farmer recommendations or investor relations you would like to share.
